Vertical lathe
Following successful experience on the horizontal lathes installed more than 5000 sets around the world, Victor continues to design one new vertical lathe Vturn-300 to meet higher roundness requirement for auto parts machining.
- Compact space floor requirement for easier cell layout in the factory.
- Ergonomic design for easy loading and unloading for operators.
- High roundness and surface finish without gravity effect on the turning process.
- Integral chip disposal without coolant leakage assures clean and clear factory.
- Fast indexing hydraulic turret
- Curvy coupling for high positioning accuracy.
- Hydraulic clamping for heavy hogging.
- Fast indexing with bi-directional random selection.
- Optional VDI turret shortens tool changeover time.
- Box slideways for optimal dynamic stiffness
- Moving carriage with large base and cast-in box slideways assures optimal and uniform cutting rigidity at any location of the moving stroke.
- 15/24 m/min rapid feed rate in X/Z axes bonded with Turcite-B and forced lubrication improve performance by eliminating stick-slip characteristics normally inherent in plain contact surface.
- Well counter-balanced design with upgraded servo motors in power and upgraded ballscrews in diameter guarantees minimal wear on the box slideways and prolongs machine service life.
- Built-in brake Z axis motor further prevents turret falling in case of sudden power off.
- High power and high torque spindle
- Encased in well-ribbed headstock for maximum heat dissipation.
- Wide range spindle motor reaches high torque output at minimum spindle speed 312.5rpm.
- 12" hydraulic solid chuck as standard and optional 10" chuck upgrades for higher spindle speed 3500 rpm.
- NN type roller bearings with large bearing areas facilitate heavy cutting and angular thrust bearing absorbs axial cutting force.
- Optional C axis spindle with 0.001 degree indexing and VDI turret allows for secondary operation such like milling and drilling.
- Meehanite cast iron structure
- Meehanite gray cast iron guarantees the distinguished structure stiffness and damping properties to absorb vibration to prolong service life without distortion.
- One-piece box structure with box slideways offers the optimal structure rigidity.
- Deep and high sloped design around the chuck and spindle minimizes swarf accumulation inside.
- Optimal ribbing structure determined bt FEM (Finite Element Method) to minimize deformation during machine operation.
