Based on the quality reputation of Victor Vturn series lathes, Victor's 2-axis gantry-type robot GR-series offers a reliable and affordable system to automate the loading and unloading of many components to increase production and reduce overhead. A wide range of work feeders are available to handle various workpiece configurations.

  1. Gantry Robot
    • With LM linear guides, Victor's in-house designed gantry robot picks up and exchanges the components within 10~15 seconds. Victor's gantry robots are driven and controlled by servo motors ( provided by Yaskawa or Mitsubishi ) guarantee high speed, stability and positioning accuracy.
    • Rapid feed rate: 90/ 60 m /min ( opt. 120/90 ) for horizontal/vertical (X/Y) axes
    • Positioning accuracy: +/- 0.05 mm

  2. Gripper with soft jaws
    • Two pneumatically operated grippers are fitted on the clamping unit to minimize exchange time. One gripper is dedicated solely for loading raw material and the other for unloading finished parts.
    • To simplify the setup of the robot, the gripper unit can be lined up with the lathe chuck by adjusting the connector around at the Y-axis arm. The connector allows the grippers to be both rotated around the Y-axis and shifted crossways/ perpendicular to the x-axis.

    Combined with Mitsubishi FX2N/64MR for PLC module, the convenient teaching pendant with monochrome ( opt. For color graphic 5.5” DSTN ) display and touch screen offers a user-friendly interface between the operator and manufacturing cell for manually setting load/unload points, dwell points and movement paths.

  4. Reliable High Performance Victor CNC lathes
    • Machine reliability is the most concerns for the unmanned operation. Victor's CNC lathes manufactured more than 3000 sets guarantee the quality and reliability for long term machine operation.
    • Vtplus-15/20: Economic lathes with linear guides for quick feed rate.
    • Vturn-16/20/26: Heavy duty lathes with box slideways.
    • Vturn Ⅱ -20/26: High efficient lathes with servo driven turret for quick tool exchanging and box slideways for upgrading 20/ 24m /min rapid feed.
    • DDS built-in spindle is offered as standard for the subspindle and C-axis spindle.
    • Auto door, air blow, chuck confirmation and I/O interface are necessary options on the CNC lathes.

  5. Reliable Fanuc Control

    6. he proven reliability of Fanuc 0i-TA controller is combined with Victor's own custom designed PLC to offer an integral control system with the utmost reliability. Optional 18T-C control also allows easier upgrades in the future and the addition of full conversational programming.

    Modular design work feeders are available for requirements of either the flange/disc or bar type components.

     

  7. Fully-enclosed Guarding (optional)

    8. The FMC is designed to accept the optional fully enclosed guarding to meet the strictest safety standards.
